MyCloud app crashes on Ipad Air

This app doesn’t even get past the splash screen on my Ipad Air.  I’ve installed it twice, once directly to the Ipad; once through Itunes.  Anyone had this problem?  Is the ability to use it on a mobile device just another WD misrepresentation?

I was about to buy a second MyCloud but for obvious reasons am quickly reconsidering the wisdom of investing more cash in a rinky-dink outfit which simply does not seem to produce on promises it makes.

This does not seem normal the application should not have any problems with this unit. I would recommend rebooting the iPad to see if this works.
