I have spent many days waiting for my 3.5 TB of data on my 2 separate external hard drives, both made by WD, to load onto the MyCloud… This process was much longer than it needs to be.
I then searched for a way to merge folders, in a similar way to Windows and how it asks you if you want to replace the old copy, keep the old copy, or skip, when copying and pasting. The BEST solution on this site was the WD SmartWare…
Is there a way so that I can easily set up the smartware program so that it feeds DIRECTLY into the folder on the mycloud?
For example:
X:>EXTERNALHARDDRIVE\MOVIE FOLDER —> \WDMYCLOUD\MOVIE FOLDER
!!!NOT!!! —> \WDMYCLOUD\SMARTWARE\MOVIE FOLDER
ANY help? Does my question make sense?
