MyCloud 4TB USB attached storage

Hi All,

I have a WD MyCloud 4TB NAS and funny enough happy with it :wink:

However, I also have a WD MyBook 3TB which I can connect with USB3. That seems to work partially. I can read it but I cannot write to it nor I can delete anything from it through the NAS. When I connect the MyBook directly to my PC I can do anything I want.

An automated backup doesnt work either.

What am I doing wrong?

Have you checked the My Cloud Dashboard to see if the Share for the USB drive is set to Private and who has what access to it?

Also make sure the USB drive is in a format supported by the My Cloud just in case there is something wrong with the format of the drive.
