MyCloud 3TB wont install after 3 long days of trying on Laptop running Windows 7 home premium

please please help I am here in the UK the WD support line just has an engaged tone all the time!!!

I am trying to install a Mycloud 3TB and after the first few steps I get a message 'There seems to be a Problem - We have detected you may not be able to : - Configure the device (settings, etc) - access the device remotely. I have tried going backwards and forwards - deleting everything starting again. I did make some progress ort (though that little victory was short lived) and got as far as trying to access the Dashboard then all I got was - web page not available.

I think I just need to take it back to the store and get my money back - hopefully

Unless someone can kindly put me on the right track


Any luck with this? I’m having the same exact problem. I’ve been a computer tech for 15 years, so, I know this is something that I should be able to get through.
