Mybook stopped working right

MYBOOK 500GB Stopped working right. It will “try” to sart up, but the light will go on and off for a few seconds and it will just shut itself down. I have it about 10% filled with data, photos and videos, and music.

How do i fix this or/and recover the data in the MYBOOK? ( it is not a fault in the adapter ).

Lots of things you can try. First try plugging it into a different slot on the wall ( if it’s attached to a power strip plug it into the wall directly) and seeing if that makes a difference. If it doesn’t I would replace the power adapter (if you have done this already (based on your text) there is no need to replace it again. Finally if the issue continues to occur I would call support.
