Why do I get the message

"Network link down

        The network link is down or has become intermittent. Please check your network connection. "

when all is working properly (or appears to be)  — I have access to the drive from all networked computers.  I suspect that this might have something to do with what is happening in my previous post in re: WE2Go.



It means what it tells you, if the network link or connectivity stops even for just one second you will get that message. The best thing to try is to check the log to see when did it exactly happen and try another router. You won’t get the message because the link is down at that moment, but because it was down at one moment.
