I have an old MyBook Live, model #WDBACG0010HCH-00. I can map it as a network drive, and open the individual files. Since the drive is over 10 years old I want to get the files off of it onto something newer. When I try to copy folders, it only copies an empty folder, the files don’t seem to copy. I can copy the files individually but there are hundreds of files so doing this manually is not really an option.

My suggestion, create a new empty folder on your computer and give it the same name, then select and drag all the folders from your MyBook folder to the new folder.
