Recent upgrade from a Mycloud device, installed new Mybook Live Duo on network. Shows up in Network-Computer fine on my laptop, but on Desktop it only shows up as Media Server and Storage. First photo below shows on desktop and only appearing as Media and Storage. Second shows how it on Laptop. I was not blaming the device since its shows up as Media and Storage? Any thoughts? I have rebotted computers, Network Switch and Router a few times.
This is up to the Network Discovery service in the computer itself. I’d recommend manually mapping your NAS using its name or IP address:
