Reviewing Future Shops web site I noticed their new version of this product ended with the NESN tag, and mine has the 01 ending. It occurred it might be refurbished but I know I would never have willingly bought a refurbished storage unit as I would not trust it’s reliability. Can anyone explain the difference in the part numbers please? I find both online but cannot determine why one or the other.
What if you call WD and ask them? If they are both “box sealed” then one can’t be refurbished so the difference has to be something else.
Did you ever get an answer? I see a lot of products, the same, some ending with NESN and some not.
I’ve been trying to figure out why myself. Anyone???
