MyBook Duo wired connection issue

I have the MyBook Duo connected with the RJ45 network cable to my NetGear router. It used to work but now the router can’t see it. I plugged my computer into the router and it will see that as a wired device but not the MyBook Duo. The light is flickering both on the My Book Duo and the router, I can hear the drives whirling away but still can’t see it connecting to the router. I followed some help articles and the power for the NAS is plugged directly to the wall. Any ideas on why it won’t connect??
