I have two MyBook Duo enclosures both bought new as discless. One of them has been running successfully for a while with two 6TB discs. I have recently bought a 16TB disc and tried to put it into the second unit. Installed in this enclosure windows disk management was not able to format the disk. I put it in a different cheaper single disk enclosure and Windows was able to format it, assign a drive name and read and write to/from it. After formatting I tried putting the disk in each of the MyBook enclosures and in both cases Windows wouldn’t recognize it.
Any ideas what I should try?
