hi, we are having troubles ussing mybook 8tb on solaris 10 due the disk is reporting the os to be 512b sector
there is any way to reformat the disk to 4k sector or show it as 4k native ?

Through WD standards procedure this is not possible. As a recommendation, check online to see if you can get an application that helps you to perform that.
