It’s brand new out of the box, I have it all set up and plugged in but my mac isnt recognizing it.
It’s not spinning or shows any indication of it being on at all.
It’s also not showing up at all in the disk utility or any of the firmware updater applications.
Please someone help!

Make sure you have the drive plugged in directly into a wall outlet. Sometimes a power strip, surge protector or an extension cord could be the cause of this issue.
