MyBook 4Tb - Wanted two 2Tb partitions in Win7. Tried Shrink and now cannot create 2nd partition

Started off with 4Tb and did a “shrink” in the computer manager. That created three data block, one of which was the original formatted My Book. I got that down to two, but now I cannot create a “simple volume” on the 2nd 2Tb block. That option is simply grayed out and is not selectable. Worse case, **bleep** I will go back to one 4Tb partition if I need to. 

Any tips?
