First time poster but good with pc’s
My mybook has never quite worked right, I’m trying to reformat and initiliaze.
- Windows 10
- Initialize disk - says write protected
- Bring up disk6 is diskpart, says it’s not, says it’s readable and writeable
- Bring up wd drive utilities
Says 5 incorrect attempts for password
I’ve never setup a password for this drive, ever.
Try to erase disk in drive utilities - “an exception occurred during the operation, making the result invalid. Check innerexception for details”
I have NO IDEA what’s going on here, I just want this drive to work properly , it never has. I want a clean wipe, and a re partition. Can comebody help me??!?
