My drive stopped showing up on my xbox after a power outage during a file transfer. None of the xbox fixes worked so I looked at disk management to reformat. The disk shows up as unknown Not initialized and gives a device is not ready error when i try to initialize. Honestly not sure what to do next.

Try to reformat the drive in any other computer and if you face the same issue then you should replace the drive if it is under warranty period.

Try to format the drive by going through disk management or use diskpart command to clean the drive.
Tried going through disk management with no luck. One of my coworkers who is better with hardware than I am is looking into it.
