My WD Passport has stopped working. PLEASE HELP!

I’m hoping someone can help.

My WD Passport has stopped working. After connecting it to both a MacBook Pro and iMac multiple times without success, it finally came up in Disk Utility on the iMac.
I wasn’t able to mount it but I am currently running First Aid. How long does this normally take? It has been going for at least 15 minutes but the loading bar at the bottom hasn’t moved at all, is that normal?

Im worried as I have all my files saved on to it (the hard drive is my only back up of files) so I really need to get everything off of it.

Any advice greatly appreciated
