How can I retrieve my data when the WD does not initialize. Is there a Data Recovery lab that could help?
Hi there is a list of WD data recovery Partners here. http://support.wdc.com/recovery/index.asp . This can get very costly so I would get a estimate of the cost before i sent it.

you can also look for online free programs if you want to recover your data by your own and it will cost you only time
