Hi all,
My 500GB external storage device is look like too slow it takes too much time to even show in my-computer it is not even showing the name given to it,
If i try to open it window explorer is not responding.
After connecting the led start blinking and i can hear a sound like a motor running (a device rotating like).
Please help me to fix this.
It may be an early sign of hardware failure. Try replacing your unit’s USB cable then proceed to run a health test using WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostics, WD SmartWare, or WD Drive Utilities depending on the generation of your unit.
If it fails any test (SMART, Short, Full) then it should be replaced.
