My unit won't power on

I took my new 24 TB Speed Shuttle out of the box, downloaded the drive and utility software, plugged in the Thunderbolt connector between my Shuttle and iMac 5K, plugged in the power, etc.

Crickets chirping.

I’ve changed outlets. I’ve changed TB3 cables. I can see a green light on the inside. But the light on the front does not come on nor is the drive recognized on the computer desktop.

Please assist.

Are you using an adapter to plug the drive into the TB2 connection on your iMac?

You will need to also install the TB3 drivers and your Mac needs to be on Mac OS 10.12.x or higher.
