My system files are "grayed out and I can't back them up. Any help appreciated

Want to back my “system files” up and they appear grey not blue in the WD software. Is there any way to back up everything?

Certain files are not supported to be backed up with Smartware. Please see the link bellow for more information:

Be aware that you can try selecting individual files on later versions of Smarware.
