The ED1003FZEX description page at Amazon, shows this WD drive as “Similar” to the now discontinued OEM (and almost defunct) HD in my desktop PC (Acer Aspire X3810 with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 installed) the OEM HD is a model ST31000528AS and its driver is a Microsoft Version 6.1.7600.16385. I ask about hassle free replacement because I have some but not so much expertise as a full time technician. Any help is strongly appreciated in advance.
