Brand new My Passport not installing on brand new Windows 7.

I went through the manual installed the software.  Any ideas?

Make sure you are not connecting thru a hub or using a cable longer that the one supplied. If you have a desktop try a port on the back. You might also try to update the USB drivers.

Hello,

  • This is a desktop or laptop computer?

  • Have you try connecting the drive to another computer?

This is a laptop directly connected to the hard drive.  Tried both usb ports same result.

Laptop and I have tried this on another computer with the same result.
