Hi I need help in that my WD Passport (1 TB) does not seem to back up (using WD Smartware) my outlook PST folders? they are large at 4GB however it keeps telling me that partial back up complete the remaining will be added later… its been like that for 2 days!

Any ideas? Can I force a file to back up manually?

Hello,

Due to the nature of the PST files changing often, WD has designed the Smartware software to only backup one version of the Outlook PST data once in every 24 hours to prevent the Smartware to make constant version changes.

You may also backup this files manually into the drive by using “copy/paste”. Note that if you copy it manually it will not update automatically.
