Great product, but just falls a few feet short of being totally awesome. I’ve had a MyCloud and now a MyCloud EX2 so know that the following can be done easily.
- Provide better security on folders such as adding the ability to assign user’s like in MyCloud OS 3. Rational:
a. Share “Public” read-only folders to eliminate worry of accidental deletion.
b. Protect “Private” stuff for assigned users.

Stop the battery slurping crawlers and provide an option to run on demand.

Provide a backup / sync option to other MyCloud OS3 devices, (e.g. EX2).

Provide folder based encryption. Don’t want to worry about losing the device.

Add ability to run Wordpress on the webserver.
