Have just resurrected a 5 year old WD Portable, I find myself wondering if there is a method where a “desktop” using “My Passport” on “continuous backup mode” can somehow use its folder named “SpreadSheets” for “Retrieval/transfer” to a duplicate folder named “SpreadSheets” on a laptop to update the files there…
BUT… by overwriting only files on Laptop which are older & different data/bytes than just backed up by “My Passport”?
An operation curtailment such as this would save a tremendous amount of time since there are 1.95GB, 4,903 files & 882 folders involved & growing at present… & I need the laptop to B within a week of current date when update takes place…
