While it’s recommended that you use the original supplied cable, any USB 3.0 A male to micro B cable will do. Just make sure it doesn’t exceed 3 feet and that the gauge of the wires that carry the power don’t exceed 26 AWG. Otherwise, connectivity and/or performance issues may occur, which could potentially corrupt data or damage the drive.
