My Passport Undetectable

I recently got a 2tb My Passport external hard drive to use for schoolwork, and it seems to work fine on my personal computer at home (I have also used it on my friend’s Razer and Acer). Yet, when I try to use it on campus, none of the computers seem to be able to detect it. I plug it in, and it lights up, but is nowhere to be seen. I have tried checking disk management as well, but it’s not there either. The only computers that detect it are the Macs (which I cannot do anything with since it is not formatted for Mac use), HP laptop at home, and both my friend’s Acer and Razer. The Lenovo laptops at school just cannot detect it whatsoever. All PCs are Windows 10, by the way. What am I doing wrong? What is the problem with it? If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it immensely. Thank you!

I suggest to check with your campus IT department, they might put some restriction on the computer that is blocking the USB on-campus computer.
