I have just bought my passport ultra and I have plugged it into my laptop and set up. It says back up complete. How can I check that my files, specifically my photos are backed up to the drive? I am not the brightest on these things so your advice is much appreciated

Hello and welcome to the community,

You can browse the backup folder to make sure your files are there. The folder is located in the root of the Passport Drive and is called “WDSmartware.Swstor”.

Go to “Computer” and open the Passport drive, then you should see the backup folder called “WDSmartware.Swstor”

I did that but it just showed jargon. I thought it automatically saves whats on my laptop. How can I make sure its saving the photos as it looks like it isnt
