My Passport Ultra (offline)

I have bought My Passport Ultra - I have not been able to get a back-up started. The only response is that the Passport is Offline. Now I have an understanding that I may have to disable some anti-virus (I have AVG and Windows Defender) but that is as far as I understand. Is there a step by step guide as to how to resolve this. I hoped that by buying My Passport it would be a plug-in and working but I have no experience with anti-virus and could do with some simple common sense help please. Thank you for your help

You should check and ensure that WD Backup must be allowed and not blocked by the antivirus or defender application. You can refer below article to know more about this.
