My Passport Ultra - No longer communicating with computer

Hello!
I have had a “my passport ultra” for years. I usually leave it plugged into my computer. My computer recently updated to the latest Windows 11, now anytime I plug in “my passport ultra” my computer acts weird and will not recognize it. While it is plugged in, I cannot use simple commands such as shutting down the computer or opening my files folder. Anytime I try to open the “my passport ultra” I get a notification that says “G:\ is not accessible. The parameter is incorrect.”
