My Passport Ultra isnt working

Hi

I have been using the passport as my main harddrive and it now wont connect to the pc? I can here it running but wont connect through the usb port. I have bought a new cable, this worked for a bit then it stopped.

Is there anyway I can get the information off the drive?? It has important stuff on it!!

Hello,

Are you using the drive on a laptop or desktop computer? If is a desktop, please connect the drive to the back usb ports of the computer.

When you connect the drive to the computer, are you able to hear any clicking noise?
