I can see My Passport Ultra 1TB in drive H. However, my laptop keeps telling me that I need to reconnect it for backup to start. It is connected. I have tried uninstall and reinstall, but same thing occurs. I previously used another My Passport on this laptop and it’s like it is wanting me to reconnect that one, not the new one. How can I get this resolved? I can manually copy items to this drive, just cannot get the automatic backup to start and work on this new Passport Ultra. I am using Windows 8

Sounds like a backup was created with the previews drive. Please try creating a new backup plan with the unit drive.
What backup software are you using?
Don’t know what software using. Just whatever came with the previous WD or
what is on laptop. How do i create new backup plan with unit drive?
