My Passport Ultra 1 TB shows error message during file recovery

I am unable to recover my files on Acronis True Image. I selected my C drive which only has 70.2 GB worth of data. About 5-10 minutes after starting the recovery process, I keep getting this error message: Access denied. You are possibly trying to work with other files or folders when working with ‘Base.dll~06LS55QS’. I tried to recover my files manually, but when I copied the folder and tried to paste, the mouse cursor just moved around in circles for almost an over before I gave up.

first check your hard disk health!
with hdtune of crystal info, see is there any error or problem.
sometimes problem is not from hdd that stop recovering and its from software,
u can do with another recovery softwares,
there is alot of free softwares
