My Passport Studio's display shows different "GB free" in different Macs

Hi, this is my first time, thank you for helping me!

First of all, sorry about my english, and please be patient :slight_smile:

I recently bought a Passport Studio, and use it in two different Macs (my personal Mac and the office’s Mac).

I noticed that it shows different GB free amounts: connected to the office’s Mac, the display shows 30 GB MORE space free in the disk than when connected to my home’s Mac. There are NO deleted files in the Trash.

Could it be an issue regarding to system versions? The office’s Mac uses OS 10.6.4 (Snow Leopard), my home computer still has the OS 10.4 version (Tiger).

Apple started reporting the drive in its decimal capacity in Mac OS 10.6 whereas 10.4 still reports the drive’s capacity in a binary format.  Please see the link below for more information:
