My Passport slowing PC

My old Passport was nearly full so I have bought and installed a 4Tb My Passport.
Since then my PC is slow and keeps hanging.
Processes running are WD App Manager, WD Drive Service, WD Backup Service and WD Backup. To avoid conflict I removed WD Smartware which I used with the old drive.

Any advice would be appreciated

Hi,

Not sure if this is the answer, but the initial backup on My Passport is quite long time due to setting up all the files and uses up PC time. Once it is complete you should not even notice the backups.

Give it a lot of time!

Thanks cliff but it’s been a couple of weeks now. I’ve uninstalled all the software and PC now OK. I just wonder whether all the software is necessary for backing up?
