Respected members,
(1) Day before yesterday I purchased 2TB My passport external hard drive.
(2) I connected My passport with my Laptop (Sony Vaio E-series 64bit windows 8)
(3) I installed “Western Digital Software for Windows.exe”
(4) Now when ever I connect my Passport HDD with Laptop eaveytime the following
message from windows displays pop ups.
(5) “Error Checking My Passport G:
Repair this drive. >>
We found Errors on this drive. To prevent data loss. Repair this drive now >>
Repair drive >>
You won’t be able to use this drive while windows find and repairs any errors. This might
take a while and you might to restart your computer”
(6) So what should I do? Ignore the message from windows to repair my passport HDD or
(7) I let windows 8 to repair my passport HDD?

As per your advice, I tried to install wd drive test software but the program couldn’t run. So as per advice from Mr. Ashar of WD helpline support, I permit the computer to “repair this drive” and “scan & fix” options. Now the problem is solved.
