My Passport Pro Unmotivated Eject?

Hi, I’m thinking of buying the My Passport Pro, however, I read in a review and on the forum here that it gets ejected without any reason or when going into sleep mode. I work in a professional environment so this is not tolerable. Do any of you have this problem or has it been resolved with a firmware upgrade or is there a work-around or list of compatible devices?

I would be very grateful for any tips.

Welcome to the Community.

If you disable the sleep timer the device should not automatically eject unless the cable is accidentally removed or the USB port deprives the device from power.

Thanks Trancer, you mean the sleep timer of my Macbook or of the Passport Pro?
