I just got a new laptop and started using My Passport to backup my data. I had used the same My Passport external drive on my previous computer. On the new laptop, after running a backup, I get an error message that some of my files couldn’t be backed up. It looks like most of the files which don’t backup are jpg and mp3 files.
Have you tried to delete the backup plan and reconfigure the backup again?
Yes. I have tried to fix the issue by deleting the backup plan and setting it up again.
