Hi guys,

I have an WD external hard disk

one day i gave it to a friend to use 

when he give it back the hard disk was lagging badly 

most of the files was unaccessable and any transfer proccess was almost impossible 

also i tried to scan it with Kaspersky and i didn’t work out since the scanning was very very slow

i tried to use scan for errors windows tool but it stop at certain point.

i have almost everything for work on the hard …

any soluations please…

Ok … is there any way that i can backup the files in the hard drive to another seperated device … 

so i can format it …

Drag’n’drop the files with windows explorer is one option. I would grab the files asap incase the disk goes bad. We can figure out the problem after you’ve got your data safe.
