What does one do when “Passport” is full BEFORE back up is complete? Start over with a larger capacity external drive? Also, what becomes of the files that were created after upgrade to Windows 10?
You will have the be more specific. Where is the hard drive displayed as “full”? Is in full in a backup application, or is it full within Windows Explorer?

If you changed OS then you need to start a new backup. If the drive is full then you need to free up some space. If you are using WD Smartware backup software then you can access the backup folder in the root of your drive called “WDSmartware.swstor” and delete some unwanted data in order to free up some space.
