My Passport for iMac 4TB works fine when it is connected to the iMac. However after the iMac sleeps and I have to enter my password, it is still displayed in finder but will not open. I have to physically disconnect and reconnect for the iMac to find it. Any ideas.

I’m having the same issue. I think it’s some kind of problem with the My Passport drive and macOS.
Would love to find the solution also!
