Hope someone can help…
I was using a My Passport 2TB firstly with a windows laptop and then a MacBook Air for years without problem. Files (photos and videos) copied over and then could be viewed/played correctly.
A few weeks ago I started using an iPad Pro and disposed of my MacBook. After a few days two of the folders on My Passport (showing in Files on my IPad) suddenly changed. One emptied and said it had zero KB of contents, the other folder changed all the files to completely random names that are zero KB in size and don’t open.
I’ve tried connecting the My Passport to a windows laptop to see if unit was a problem with the IPad, but the folders still show up as corrupted.
Any idea how I get the files back?
