My Passport Essentials not recognized after successful firmware update - 3.2.5.1.
I’d this issue since almost 1 year (precious data from last 3-4 years) thinking that WD might release some patch or updated firmware to address this issue and it seems they still haven’t done yet… . The firmware update was successful despite which it’s not accessible. Now, I thought to give another try with Windows 10 wherein it shows installing some Initio drivers … but it doesn’t still show up… Tried connecting it to my mac (10.11) as well, tried to download and install the firmware updater in Mac as well, but still no luck…
Any further suggestions are welcome …
