Hello! I have such a problem: my passport connects to the mac but in a few minutes disconnects by itself showing “error 43”. I searched all the forums but it seems nobody has the same problem. I have smartwire and everything up to date. Also when my passport connects it shows like ordinary hard drive, not speed one as it shoud. Also if I’m using a file from HD it shows “0740 Media can’t be closed at the moment. please close all the applications and try later” something like that and diisconnects in a few minutes too. I don’t know what to do. Please, help!
It can be a power or firmware problem since that drive has not been updated for Lion yet, do you have the same problem on anocher computer running Snow Leopard?
