Mi external drive does not open. The computer recognizes it but will not open the files. What can I do to fix this?
What do you mean by does not open, are you getting any error messages? Have you test your drive in a different computer?
usually when you can see the drive and files, but can’t open them, it’s because there’s corruption. I’d also change the cable (no more than 18inches) to make sure that you don’t have a bad cable.
