My disc space is at 0%. The guy at Best Buy told me i needed an external hard drive and sold me MY PASSPORT SE. I hooked it up but only seem to be able to back up my files. I still have 0 freespace om my C drive. Is there some way i can transfer some files from C to F? or did i buy the wrong thing?
Smartware backsup with it’s own method mostly pics,audio, videos and not all formats. You can still drag and drop or copy like any other drive. I only used Smartware once and uninstalled it. I would have opted for a powered drive instead of a USB powered one. You also want more than one copy of important files no matter who makes the external drive. There are a lot of people here who moved important files off the PC to free up space to external then had a problem with external.
