My Passport Essential 750GB now thinks it is a CD Drive

Is there any way to get my drive back?

When I installed WD’s Fat32 reformatter, according to WD’s instructions. Then run it, it tells me that it does not support my drive. BUT WD says it does. Can I get around WD’s software and just format the &%^#(@ thing?
