My passport erased and not recognized

I have a WD My passport of 1.000Gb. I erase its contents but not the original firmware. The HD rests with only 670Gb free and 270Gb occupied by the system.

I tryed to format and a message said that it was not possible. I found information in the forum that propose to use WD Digital Data Lifeguard Diagnostics (DLGDIAG) for Windows. I used it and the unit pass the test but it bot recover the original space. I saw that there was a Erase option in the DLGDIAG i try to use it. Now, when finished, my PC not recognise My passport.

What can I do?

Thanks.

Hi Sort
Check for your drive in disk management and device manager.
If its showing in there, go for partition deletion from disk management and create new volume.
Proceed with other steps, and give your feedback
