I just bought this Passpoert Edge for Mac. On setting it up, the system says there is a more recent versdion of the software utilities. When I do the update, a .zip file downloads and then a window pops up saying “Updating Software”.
However, the system then loops back to telling me there’s a later version. This loop can’t be broken when trying to update. Any help welcome. This also happens when I try to use the WD Security app. Same thing - loops. Is this because the app on the drive doesn’t update? I found that the Utilities app in my Applications folder did update.
